The course will give new and aspiring design and technology subject co-ordinators confidence in leading and managing their subject.  

Participants will learn how to:

·       advocate confidently for design and technology as a subject in their school

·       plan effectively in the long, short and medium term

·       assess children's progress in the subject

·       create an action plan for developing design and technology provision.
